Watering Requirements
Water newly planted vines 2-3 times per week to establish deep roots. Once established, provide about 1 inch of water per week, either from rainfall or deep soaking, allowing the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings.

When and how do you prune Honeysuckle Vine?
Prune in late winter or early spring while the vine is dormant by cutting back dead wood, shaping stray stems, and thinning out tangled growth to improve air circulation. For light maintenance, do a quick post-bloom trim in summer to snip back overgrown shoots, or perform a rejuvenation prune in early spring by cutting the entire vine down to 2 feet above the ground every few years.
